February has been a been a very busy month for the USS Tiburon. We hosted the VIP suite at Galaxy Fest in Colorado springs. The suite was a gigantic hit with all the guests and the VIP’s. We hosted 2 after hours parties and breakfast for the guests, VIPS and volunteers. Everyone that entered our room was treated to coffee, tea, bagels, danishes, and much more. The room hosted everyone from 2 former companions from the Dr. Who series, Noah Hathaway (Boxey on Battlestar Galactica), two former power rangers and the Honky tonk man. The Tiburon also hosted 4 different karaoke sessions in various parts of the hotel.
When we weren’t running around Colorado Springs, we started role playing with the characters from the USS Tiburon. Our XO took the reins and sent the Tiburon out into the wide world of space and what will happen next no one knows.
And last but not least, the Tiburon has started it’s own NASCAR fantasy league. Daytona was run on Sunday where Jimmie Johnson won. Everyone that was watching said that this race was one of more exciting Daytona that has been run in many years.
