Friday Night Lights

thGood Afternoon this is Chief Science Officer Jennifer Sontag reporting from the bridge of the USS Tiburon currently in orbit around Earth.

I had the privilage and honor of beaming down to Earth last Friday night with the XO, Fleet Captain Doug Davenport, to attend a concert put on by Justin Moore and Brad Paisley at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.  It was one of the best performances that I have ever attended.

Justin Moore sings a song called If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away, it’s all about the ones we have lost over the years and if we could we could go and visit them once or twice. I share that same sentiment, because I would love to go and visit my mom and grandmom even for a day. I didn’t know much about him before the concert but now I know I will be listening for more of his songs when we can pick them up on iHeartRadio.

Brad Paisley puts on a show that you have to experience at least once is your life. All the lighting and theatrics he puts into it is well worth the money. His signature songs like Alcohol, Online and Celebrity  are great and of course one of my all time favorites, She’s Everything to Me, were put on with so much flash and flare you didn’t realize that two hours went by. Even though we were in the nose-bleed section of the stadium, I felt that he played to the entire stadium and didn’t leave anyone out. His sets were huge and the bass coming from the speakers was enough to shake the seats. I would go and see him again in a heartbeat. I think the XO would agree with me on that.

brad paisleyI better sign off and I will see you next month with a report on my favorite holiday, HALLOWEEN!

Thank you,

Fleet Captain Jennifer Sontag, Chief Science Officer, USS Tiburon
