| For those newcomers who might be wondering just what the USS Tiburon is, we are a Denver based Star Trek Fan association that was established in 2005 and is part of the world’s largest Star Trek fan association, STARFLEET the International STAR TREK Fan Association Inc.
Founded on May 23, 1974, STARFLEET has operated continuously as an active Star Trek fan organization, being recognized as the world’s largest Star Trek fan club by the Guinness Book of World Records in 2004. With over 4500 members worldwide organized into ships or chapters, STARFLEET chapters cover most of the United States, with more in Canada, and in countries as far away as Australia, South Africa, and even a chapter in Iceland!
