This year, the Tiburon has expanded its participation with the convention. We will be hosting the 3rd Annual STAR TREK Fan room on the party floor of the convention (hopefully near the ConSuite). There are two first this year for the Tiburon, we will be having a table in the Fan Table atrium of the convention, and we are proud to present the 1st Annual Echoes in Space Karaoke on Friday night, starting at 10pm in the main ballroom.
Echoes in Space Karaoke is shaping up to be a wonderful time. With thousands of songs to choose from, there is sure to be something you are going to want to sing.
Each year, the USS Tiburon picks a charity to raise money for in the Fan Room. In previous years it has been Toys for Tots and the Rocky Mountain Alley Cat Association. This year we will be raising money for Good Bears of the World!
Good Bears of the World is a non-profit organization that collects new and gently used stuffed animals for children in crisis. Good Bears takes the donations, cleans and mends the stuffed animals as needed and distributes them to area organizations that deal directly with children. These stuffed animals help reduce the panic and stress when children need it the most.
