Fall is coming

fall leaves

This is Chief Science Officier Jennifer Sontag reporting from the bridge of the USS Tiburon with the monthly report.

In a few weeks the season will change from summer to fall and it’s a great time to get out and enjoy all the colors that mother nature has to offer. If anyone is reading this in New England, I know that the colors are more spectacular then in the western united states but we still get some color out here from all the Aspen trees that have been planted around Colorado. If you are driving up the many interstate highways around the state you will see banks and banks of yellow, those are the aspen trees showing their true colors.

And with the changing of the seasons from summer to fall everyone is getting in the mood for the holiday season starting with Halloween and ending on New’s year day. There is still time before the weather changes to ice and snow to get out and enjoy the many festivals and corn mazes.

I have had so much fun with my fellow crew members trapsing through the mud at the Anderson Farm corn maze and trying to outwit the angry crow. This year they are trying to trick us by having 2 different mazes one in the shape of the Statue of liberty with a bald eagle and the smaller maze of a american flag. So before the weather turrns bad go out and enjoy all the fall activities that Colorado has to offer.

Signing off for now, but I will be back next month with a report on my favorite time of the year HALLOWEEN.
