Getting Lost in Broomfield

Good evening, this is Chief Science Officer, Jennie Sontag, reporting from the bridge of the USS Tiburon currently in orbit around Earth.

This past weekend I had the privilege of attending and hosting an event with some members of the crew in Broomfield, Colorado. It was a great sunny Saturday morning when myself, First Officer Doug Davenport, and crew members Chris Swanson and Debbie Warner, attended and attempted the corn maze out at Rock Creek Farms. It was a daunting task, but we came out of it without having to cheat and go through the corn rows. We had a bit of confusion in the first one we tried, we entered one maze and ended up in another, not sure if we entered a wormhole or got caught in a black hole, but we came and conquered over 8 miles of mazes.

In addition to the mazes, Rock Creek Farms offered up some home grown pumpkins for the picking, which the communication officer will make into delicious homemade pumpkin pies for the crew. They also had cute and fuzzy animals like miniature horses and donkeys, cows and various other farm animals.

I would recommend Rock Creek Farms to anyone traveling in the vicinity of Colorado, they were great hosts, and I can’t wait until next year when I can go back and see what they have cooked up for their next maze.

Signing off until next time,

Fleet Captain Jennifer Sontag
