Fan Expo Denver – Special Edition

We are gearing up quickly for our appearance at Fan Expo Denver – Special Edition. I have been told by the organizers that they are giving us what we have asked for, a 20ft by 30ft space to setup our ENTIRE display. This is the first large scale display event since 2019 and the first newly minted Fan Expo for Denver. We are going to be looking for volunteers to help with everything from loading and unloading of the truck at the storage unit and at the convention center, to help with setting up our display, all the grid wall, all the wires and prop pieces. Hell, we already need help with making our Tribbles for Tribbles for Charity. We need help manning the display (called the Tiburon Experience) for all hours of Fan Expo. We need YOU! (Sort of felt like Uncle Sam there.) Don’t ask what the Tiburon can do for you (Give you a community of likeminded, open, and fairly not judgmental fiends to geek out with) but what you can do for the Tiburon! (OK, sorry enough of killing famous sayings). But seriously folks we need your help. I am working on getting members free passes for working the Tiburon Experience just like in years past. Typically, we have asked for 9 hours of time working during the open times of Fan Expo to get a free pass. My understanding, at this time, is that we will be getting those passes for free, unlike in years past.  A sign-up sheet should be ready within the week and will be linked here in the next newsletter.
