Shore Leave – FlyteCo Tower
Come and hang out with your fellow Tiburon members for Shore Leave at FlyteCo Tower. FlyteCo Tower is a brewery, bar, restaurant, and entertainment venue located at a former air traffic control tower in the Central Park neighborhood of Denver. Coming in at over 25,000 sqft of space, FlyteCo includes three levels, three full bars, and one huge outdoor patio.
About the Tower
Stapleton International Airport shutdown in 1995 when Denver International Airport opened.
The 164-foot air traffic control tower and its three-story building at its base is one of the last remaining reminders of Denver’s first airport.
While the current Central Park neighborhood started to develop and build around the control tower starting in the early 2000’s, the tower itself sat vacant until 2017 when it was developed into a restaurant space, operating through the first weeks of the 2020 pandemic.
