Thank you

memorial-day-2014-thank-you

Hey there, it’s Fleet Captain Jennifer Sontag reporting from the bridge of the USS Tiburon. I know it’s been several months since my last post but I have been busy with all those darn Tribbles. I can’t seem to find the time to write but I am back to writing my monthly science blog.

This time is a little different because I want to say thank you to all those in the many branches of the US military that are currently serving and have served in the armed forces. And we can’t forget all the men and women currently protecting our lives and possession as they serve as police and fire personal. It’s very important that we thank these men and women who protect our freedom and have given their lives in defense of our country. We need to be thankful that they are willing to give their lives that we may have all the benefits and freedom that we currently have.

Starting in the Revolutionary War right up to the current conflict in the middle east and all those fighting on the home front we have had many brave Americans that have given their lives so we can enjoy ours.

On this Memorial Day weekend, if you see a man or women in a uniform, please go up to them and say “THANK YOU”.
